Council puts Mayor on notice

The Ashburn City Council is sending a letter to Mayor Sandra Lumpkin.

The exact contents of the letter were not discussed in open session at the June Council meeting. The Council is having the City Attorney write the letter.

The Wiregrass Farmer has filed a Freedom of Information Act and Georgia Sunshine Law open records act request with Denmark Ashby & Matricardi and attorney Wallace Washington and the City of Ashburn. The FOIA request asks for a copy of the letter.
