Ashburn Public Safety gets new vehicles
The Ashburn Police and Fire Departments are getting new vehicles.
Public Safety Chief Richard Troutman said at the last City Council meeting that 3 of the Police Department’s patrol cars are out of service.
He requested the City lease 3 new patrol cars at an annual payment of $48,224. The leases are 3 years each. On the last payment, the City owns the vehicles.
During those 3 years, maintenance and warranty are covered, he said.
