Budget, tiny homes and mayor replacement on agenda
The Ashburn Council is expected to approve the budget for the 26-27 Fiscal Year at the Thursday meeting.
The meeting at 6 p.m. at the Municipal Courthouse is open to the public. The agenda is subject to change until the meeting begins.
The proposed budget does not call for a tax increase.
Other agenda items are:
Filling the vacant Mayor’s seat. If someone is appointed, that person will serve as mayor until the first meeting in January, when the term expires. Whoever is elected Mayor in the November election will be sworn in in January.
