The State Department of Revenue says, “Effective December 1, 2023, owners of multipurpose off-highway vehicles (MPOHVs) may voluntarily register their vehicles so they may be driven on county roads.“

Several parts of Georgia’s vehicle laws say these types vehicles are only allowed on City roads when they meet law-defined standards. (See below)
The Ashburn City Council last month modified the golf cart ordinance to allow those vehicles, beyond golf carts, on City streets.
