National convention brings visitors to Turner County

The Valdosta Daylily Club hosted the 2026 American Daylily Society’s National Convention, and our very own local business, Bell’s Daylily Garden, was honored to be one of six tour gardens featured this year. On May 22nd and 23rd, ten tour busses carrying almost five hundred people came to Sycamore to enjoy the 1,000 different varieties of daylilies that are showcased at Bell’s Daylily Garden. People from all over the country were able to enjoy three acres of landscaped gardens, walkways, sitting areas, and thousands of blooming flowers. Many walkways weave through the garden to allow unobstructed views of the beautiful daylilies. A covered deck sits by the pond where you can rest and feed the fish, and a pavilion sits just up the path where you can enjoy a picnic and look out over the colorful blooms. Bell’s Daylily Garden is one mile off I-75 from exit 75 and is worth the detour!
