TCHS Honors Night
Turner County High School’s top students were saluted Friday night at the Civic Center.

Jason Clark, outgoing TCHS principal, gets a plaque of appreciate from Amber Stephens.
For the seniors, it is their last walk for an honors night. The next big event on their calendar is graduation.
The night featured a new segment. Each of the honor and high honor grads gave their top teacher a golden apple award. Each senior picked the teacher he or she felt deserved the award.
In the presentation, the announcer read a brief statement from each senior about why that teacher deserved the award. Some teachers took home multiple awards.
Scholarships from various individuals, companies and schools were also given to the seniors.
Honor and high honor students from 12th to 9th grade were called and recognized for their achievements.
