Help for domestic abuse survivors

Georgia Justice Project (GJP) is thrilled to report that the Survivor Justice Act (HB 582) passed and went the Governor’s desk for his signature.

The other three bills we championed had broad support but unfortunately ran out of time to get a final vote. Those three bills will begin the second year of Georgia’s two-year legislative cycle in a strong place next January. We appreciate your support for GJP’s policy efforts by sending emails and making phone calls to lawmakers.
